América en Crisis is a reference site for the Americas about what to do before, during and after a crisis, and how to protect or generate income when one hits. It is organised by type of crisis — not by loose topics — because the person arriving here already knows what is happening to them and needs the answer to that, not a blog.
It is built and maintained by LianaWebs, an independent web development studio. We are not part of any government, party, church, insurer or civil protection agency, and we do not speak for any of them.
Why it exists. Emergency information exists, but it is scattered across dozens of official PDFs, written in language that is not always clear, and almost never connected to the other half of the problem: how a family stays afloat financially when the crisis lasts for months. This site joins the two halves.
How it is funded. Through donations from the people who use it, advertising and affiliate links. The detail is on the transparency page. The site is free and has no paywall, and will not have one.
How we write. Every guide cites the official sources it rests on, section by section, with a direct link. The full method is in our editorial policy.
